Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell indicates that he’s not as optimistic as legislative leaders are that he can be convinced to support a budget deal announced last week.
After the bipartisan budget deal was announced by top lawmakers Friday, Governor Rendell said the numbers didn’t add up and that he would veto it.
And after a Sunday night bargaining session with Rendell, legislative leaders said they were hopeful they could prove to the governor that their revenue projections were sound.
