A new, $4-million improvement project has been launched to revitalize the Mount Airy business corridor along Germantown Avenue.
Members of Mount Airy Inc., a nonprofit revitalization organization, gathered in front of Able Plumbing at Germantown and Meehan Avenues along with city officials and area business people.
Able Plumbing is one of twelve businesses that will be restored under the new "Rock the Blocks" program, which will also include new lighting, trees, benches, trash receptacles, and sidewalks in the neighborhood.
