Philadelphia has joined a national foster care foundation in its effort to increase the number of foster parents in this country.
The foundation, Casey Family Programs, has enlisted a host of area partners to help get its "Raise Me Up" campaign up and running, including the city's Department of Human Services and Eagles' rookie wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (above):
"I don't know where I'd be today if it wasn't for the people who came into my life and helped me be successful. They opened up their home for me. I've been living there since I was 16 years old and they've definitely showed me the way."
