More bad budget news for Mayor Nutter came on Friday: the Pennsylvania House has decided to delay a vote that he'd been banking on for next Tuesday in order to avoid wholesale cuts to the city budget.
The mayor had been expecting the House to vote on bill H.B.1828 this coming Tuesday, and its passage would let him avoid implementing his so-called "doomsday" budget.
But the House is delaying the vote until later in the week, and members are likely to strip out amendments added by the state senate involving statewide pension reform.
