Pennsylvania state police were holding a free event on Tuesday at its Belmont barracks in Philadelphia, designed to help parents keep children safe by using car seats correctly.
State trooper Denea Durham says motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death of children aged two through 14, due to a couple of things: improperly installed child safety seats and, among older children, the failure to use seat belts.
