The creditors fighting with the company that owns the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News over control of the papers want a bankruptcy judge to force the company to stop its "keep it local" publicity campaign. It'll come up in a hearing next week.
Creditors write in their court filing that the current investor group is lead by newspaper chief executive Brian Tierney. It goes on to say "prior to taking charge of the debtors, Mr. Tierney's background was in PR. It shows."
