Super-Rare Honus Wagner ''Proof'' Card on Display at Phillies' Ballpark

Fans at the Phillies-Pirates game tonight and tomorrow can take a peek at a rare and valuable baseball item that's going up for auction later this summer.
David Hunt, president of Hunt Auctions, estimates that only 50 to 100 Honus Wagner baseball cards were ever printed. And he's got a Honus Wagner card that's even more rare than that.
Wagner was a Hall-of-Fame shortstop with the Pirates in the early 1900s, when baseball cards were in tobacco packages rather than bubble gum. But Wagner didn't approve of kids having access to tobacco, and declined the rights to his picture. Still, a few of his cards were printed.
