Pa. Authorities Expanding Aerial Enforcement of Traffic Laws

Pennsylvania State Police and local municipal police are teaming up with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as the Memorial Day weekend approaches to drive home a safe driving message.
Using a Cessna airplane, state police plan to clock vehicles believed to be speeding on area highways, then radio to police on the ground to make the stop.
But speeding is just one part of the plan. Les Toaso, head of Penndot's District 6, says "click-it or ticket" law enforcement is also on the menu. He says that 88 percent of the state's drivers already use a seat belt on a regular basis:
