Philadelphia Police to Train PPA Officers in Anti-Terrorism Skills
Philadelphia soon should have over 500 additional pairs of specially trained "eyes" on the front lines of the war on terror in the city.
Philadelphia Parking Authority officers and uniformed employees will be specially trained by the police department and officials of the two departments were meeting on Monday to plan the training.
Philadelphia Parking Authority executive director Vince Fenerty reached out to the police department, suggesting authority officers have been an underutilized resource and should be trained, and it's going to happen.
