State gambling regulators are telling the owners of a proposed slot-machine casino in Philadelphia in no uncertain terms that they expect the facility to be built on the South Philadelphia riverfront site (above) that was original approved.
The Foxwoods group asked the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Friday for an additional 21 months to build a facility with at last 1,500 slot machines. The original deadline passed in May.
