In part one of this article my opening statement was that hope and love are two ingredients that are a part of salvation, in Christ Jesus. Well, that is still truth today. I want to add that love is constant. It is an action that in its true nature is divine. The true essence/ingredient of love is unconditional; not limited by any conditions. Because there are no boundaries nothing can hinder the flow of divine love. Human love is a love that is expressed out of emotion, an act of give and take. Love is expressed to a certain degree depending on you are and your relationship with that person. Even when we express love towards our loved ones, those that are closest to us, we respond out of our feelings and emotions. Our response or actions to love could be altered by how we may feel or our circumstances.
I welcome comments from my readers and many responded and I would like to include their comments. I.S. writes: “I agree with you that God is the true Teacher of Hope and Love. We love God because He loves us first and has planted His love in our hearts to teach us to love. We have hope because we know the God whom we love will never leave, forsake or let us down - nice articles.”
Reverend Tonya Jones encourages others by writing: “Of course it would be our Lord. What do any of us know of love and hope? What we know unfortunately is based upon society and what we have learned through experience and education. We have no idea how to love and how hope works. God is love and if he is love then we must learn of love and hope in him by drawing closer to him studying his word daily. We love by expecting to receive. God loves by giving and expecting nothing in return. God loves unconditional and his love is based upon giving and accepting just the way we are. How awesome is that?”
Only the true Teacher of love could instruct us how to love. Even then there is a struggle. Many are not always able to love thy neighbor as thyself, nor able to love thy brother whom he sees daily. Now you may say that as Christians, this is how we are to act, because we are known by our love. John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. The truth is the choice is always yours and your personal walk with Christ and your intimacy with the Holy Spirit will determine if His love has been threaded in with your love. We need His love to love out of. Our love is full of imperfections. Even when we want to love it may not happen. Mankind is finite and we are limited by our own imperfections and insecurities. But God helps us to love unconditionally. This can be displayed by the action of love from a mother to her son or daughter.
Polly expounded on Jesus being love by stating: “Jesus is the true teacher of Love and Hope – That’s who and what he is and it is what HE does. He’s here to do the impossible and all we have to do is JUST believe. When we desire to know who He is, He reveals what and who He is to us spiritually and gives us understanding. He assures us that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Jesus teaches us that he is the way, the truth and the life. It is through Him (Jesus) that we come to know and fellowship with our heavenly Father.”
Out of this fellowship comes love. Lets fellowship one with another and grow to love each other.
