US congressman Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) held a forum on Monday morning at the Veterans Multiservice and Education Center, near 4th and Vine Streets in the Old City section of Philadelphia.
Sestak (right), who is running for the US Senate seat now held by fellow Democrat Arlen Specter, focused on veterans' health care issues.
The congressman and retired US Navy rear admiral wasted no time in presenting his case to the group of about 35 people (top photo): veterans' benefits need to be improved and claims must be handled quickly:
