On the third Sunday in July 2000, Pastor Collins taught his first lesson as the Pastor of Church of the Overcomer. Keith Collins reminds me of two fine men who are forever about helping those who can’t help themselves against the super powers that may be. One of these men is the late
Lucien Edward Blackwell, United States Congressman, who represented West Philadelphia and parts of Delaware County, Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1995. The other is our current United States President, Barack Obama. Collins is quite physical and passionate as a reliable advocate for Delaware County fresh environmental policies.
In September of 1986 Collins lead a community and charitable involvement group to successfully close down a known drug trafficking operation at 5th and Poplar Streets in Philly by means of leading the old fashion rallies proceedings.
Today, Collins is a certified United Way Faith Based Mentor. He also services the community in action as Facilitator of Boys2Men, a Faith Based program for young men 13-18 years old. His actions consist of a relational phase, instructional phase, and crossing ceremony.
