Montco Chiropractor Sentenced in Muder-for-Hire Plot Against Wife

A Lower Merion, Pa. chiropractor will spend at least 7½ years in state prison for trying to hire a hitman to kill his wife.
Montgomery County judge Steven O’Neill called this case "a sad, chilling tale of domestic abuse." He says that Alan Kushner continues to be a threat to his wife and two children, and his only remorse is that he got caught.
Kushner, 59, was sentenced on Friday to 7½ to 20 years behind bars. Prosecutor Tom McGoldrick is pleased with the sentence:
