The folks lining up at the Bucks County visitor information center in Bensalem, Pa. on Tuesday were not tourists looking for the Mercer Museum. They want a job.
The company that operates the Philadelphia Park casino and the racetrack about 100 yards away from the visitor center now has what's being called a "racino" -- a casino at the racetrack.
Come December, Philadelphia Park is scheduled to open its new, standalone, $250-million permanent casino (right), and needs to fill about 200 new jobs.
Spokeswoman Darlene Monzo says, think Las Vegas, or a Borgata-style operation:
