It's Neighborhood Food Week in Philadelphia through next Sunday, giving diners a chance to sample restaurants outside center city for a cheaper price.
35 restaurants in six neighborhoods are offering fixed price menus for 20 to 30 dollars in the brand new Philly Neighborhood Food Week, through Sunday, October 18th. Charisse McGill, event consultant, says the week came about when some Philly restaurants wanted to join in with the Center City food week, but couldn't because they're not in Center City. McGill says diners are loving it.
