Concerns Growing About Heart Health Among HS Athletes

The health and safety of athletes is a hot topic from little league to the pros, and there's growing concern about heart health.
It is definitely becoming a major debate in high school sports. There are about 10-million athletes in America who participate in high school sports. They receive high school sports physicals, but many cases of cardiac problems are missed.
Even with the best physical examinations, certain things can't be picked up and there's about 115 deaths each year. The electrocardiogram costs about $78 student and there are some who say each student should get an EKG.
