They hope it is never used, but Nutter Administration officials this week are starting to prepare a list of city workers to be laid off if the mayor's budget collapses.
City finance director Rob DuBow says department managers by Friday must start looking at who would stay and who would go if the Mayor pulls the trigger on his "doomsday budget:"
"The human resources department is beginning the process of getting layoff lists together, and getting layoff scores, in case we have to go through the "Plan C" process, which obviously we don't want to."
