Adam Beloff, Esquire, Candidate for Common Pleas Judge
My Philadelphia Front Page News (FPN) political news team -Darryl Nutter and I- have given Adam Beloff, an attorney who practices in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, high marks for a career spent dealing with cases involving adoption, divorce, child custody, abuse, juvenile delinquency, estates and guardianships. Most recently, Beloff, has supported the official opening of the new West Philly Democratic Club (WPDC) 52nd and Arch Street.
Beloff, who seeks election to a seat of Court of Common Pleas Justice, has been publicly endorsed by one of the most frequently read newspapers on the internet because he is active in the lives of South Philly Philly families, amongst others who are below the poverty level and/or struggling with low-income issues. Beloff is committed to the goal of improving West Philly youth sports at the 56th and Christian playground by helping Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell develop a new baseball/softball program.
In fact, Adam has a life-long commitment to community service. He served as the president of the South Seventh Street Redevelopment Association. He has been a volunteer to the Miss Columbus Day Scholarship Pageant for 30 years. He is now the pageant’s Chairman of Judges. He has volunteered and judged National Mock Trial Competitions; the John S. Bradway High School Mock Trial Competition at Temple University, sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division and the American Mock Trial Invitational at the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Adam M. Beloff, was born in South Philadelphia to Ruth and Stanley Beloff. He was raised in a family of six children. Adam was elected Judge during "student day" at his grammar school. The experience sparked his desire to study the law at a young age.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Front Page News editorial board, which consists of devout volunteers working to fight for the rights of families in court, has endorsed Adam because he has a solid devoted career in legal matters. In his long time as an attorney, Beloff has handled Pennsylvania and New Jersey cases well and has demonstrated reliability. FPN recommends his election as the next Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge on May 19 Primary.
Dawn Segal is also endorsed by FPN to be a Municipal Court Judge in Philadelphia. Segal has practiced law for 25 years, essentially living in courtrooms in Philadelphia and the counties, representing plaintiffs and defendants. Based upon this experience, Segal was an Acting Judge in Philadelphia for several years and has been recommended by the Philadelphia Bar Association, the one group who rates the qualifications of lawyers in Philadelphia. Dawn has also received endorsements from Philadelphia NOW, Liberty City Democrats, Local 159 of District Council 33, the Philadelphia Black Clergy, and the Faculty and Staff Federation at Community College.
