Turnout was low despite the crisp, sunny springtime weather on Tuesday as Philadelphia voters were choosing their party's nominees for district attorney and controller. Across Pennsylvania, a number of judicial races drew scant interest.
Lynne Abraham, who has been Philadelphia's DA since 1991, is retiring at year's end and six men are vying to succeed her. Republican Michael Untermeyer is unopposed in the GOP primary.
The big battle is the five-way Democratic primary: Seth Williams, Brian Grady, Dan McCaffery, Dan McElhatton, and Michael Turner. Abraham hasn't endorsed anyone:
