Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James (23) makes a 3-point shot over Orlando Magic's Hedo Turkoglu (15), from Turkey, as time expired to give the Cavaliers a 96-95 win in Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference basketball finals Friday, May 22, 2009, in Cleveland.
Another game-winning shot. Another instant classic.
The culprit this time? Hedo Turkoglu LeBron James
With a 2-0 series deficit staring right at the face of 'The King' and the Cleveland Cavaliers, LBJ drained a game-winning three that gave the Cavs a 96-95 win over the Orlando Magic and notched the series at 1-1 heading back to the City Beautiful.
For the Magic, the team did its job, splitting the first two games at the Q and feeling good knowing that the players were thisclose to putting the Cavaliers in a 0-2 series deficit. Losing on another buzzer-beater (four, to be exact) is tough, but Orlando has proven it can bounce back from a tough loss.
Even though the Magic didn't win last night, the team extricated itself from repeating the Game 2 debacle in the Boston Celtics series and proved its desire to get greedy .. now the team must learn another lesson from the last round and hold serve at home against the Cavs. Stay tuned to see how it all unfolds, beginning on Sunday.
