A district judge in Harrisburg has dismissed charges against former state House Democratic Whip Mike Veon and a top aide in a case involving a non-profit development organization Veon founded in Beaver County.
Mike Veon still faces charges in Attorney General Tom Corbett’s 'bonusgate' legislative probe, but after a preliminary hearing, charges that Veon misused funds from the non-profit known as BIG, the Beaver Initiative for Growth, have been dismissed.
