Congressman JoeSestak says he'll introduce legislation that would make the federal school lunch program easier for students to get.
Sestak is using a pilot program in Philadelphia as a model for schools across the country.
The USDA let Philadelphia do away with statement of need forms for school meals, 18 years ago. So many of the students qualified, eligibility was based on the socio-economics of the whole school. But the Bush administration said it was ending the program so the entire Philadelphia delegation met with Obama's USDA secretary last week to ask for a reprieve.
