Local Easter Celebrations Underway

Among the oldest continuous annual Easter sunrise services in the region that annually attracts hundreds of worshippers was held Sunday at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
More than 1,500 worshippers of all Christian faiths in South Jersey attended the service along the lake at Lakeview Memorial Park along route 130 in Cinnaminson. Father Carl Sondeen of St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church presided over the affirmation of faith.
Some 12 Christian churches in South Jersey, mostly from Burlington and Camden counties, took part in the service which is nearly 80 years old.
