Former Aide Testifies Against Pa. Rep. Perzel at Hearing

A former aide to Philadelphia state representative John Perzel spent the day on the witness stand Wednesday as a preliminary hearing began for Perzel and nine other people associated with the House Republican caucus.

At the heart of the allegations against current House member and former Speaker John Perzel is that millions of taxpayer dollars were paid for computer technology that benefited Republican campaigns. A former aide to Perzel testified that Perzel knew that data generated by those programs was being used for campaigns.
