VP Biden Visits Philadelphia for Congressman Brady Fundraiser

Vice president Joe Biden was the main draw on Friday for a fundraiser for Rep. Bob Brady (D-Pa.), held in center city Philadelphia.
A police motorcycle patrol escorted a procession of black SUVs followed by unmarked vans for staff and media, as the area around 17th and Locust Streets was locked down and the vice president hopped out and went into the Warwick Hotel through a side door.
When Congressman Brady, also chairman of the Democratic City Committee, calls on ward leaders and friends, they show up. And the governor, mayor, city council members, as well as business and industry leaders also said hello.
Comcast executive David Cohen was co-host of the event. He says that Brady has "matured into one of the most effective advocates" in Congress for this region:
