On Lehigh Avenue, a march was led by children to raise awareness about the violence plaguing North Philadelphia neighborhoods.
As Philadelphia continues to grapple with the violence that is dividing its communities and neighborhoods, the children of the Catholic schools of North Philadelphia led a march across Lehigh Avenue to promote peace in their communities. Anchored by Catholic schools in North Philadelphia, from Port Richmond to Strawberry Mansion, the Hands Across Lehigh march was led by hundreds of children, families, school and church leaders.
