An American journalist is in prison in Iran, but her case can actually mean a diplomatic breakthrough.
After a one day secret trial, 31-year-old Roxana Saberi (in file photo above) was sentenced to eight years as an American spy, but in an odd and rare announcement on Sunday, Iran's President Ahmadinejad ordered the prosecution to make sure that all efforts are exhausted to make sure she gets a proper appeal of her conviction.
