3,150-Square-Foot Philadelphia Mural Goes on Temporary Display in Gallery Mall

A massive art installation created by hundreds of Philadelphians under the city's Mural Arts Program is now in one place in center city -- but only for the time being.
After Easter, the seven sections of the 30-foot by 105-foot mural called "This We Believe" will be sent to seven new locations for permanent display. And one of the seven panels is still looking for a new home.
The 3,150-sqaure-foot mural, painted on long strips of parachute cloth, portrays what it means to be a Philadelphian.
Michelle Ortiz (right) is one of the three artists that led about 300 Philadelphians of all ages to created the mural:
