Philadelphia Marathon This Sunday

The runners hit the road on Sunday morning for the 16th annual Philadelphia Marathon.
The Boston Marathon has a century of tradition. New York's has the wide streets. But the 16-year-old Philadelphia Marathon has its own flavor. It's a relatively flat course between the Delaware River and Manayunk, past historic and cultural landmarks, says city representative Melanie Johnson.:
"When people come around the curve from Kelly Drive and up back at about 21st and the Parkway for our finish line -- when they get a picture, that picture is them crossing the finish line with the backdrop as the Philadelphia Museum of Art."
