3 Boys Injured in Upper Darby Crash; Charges Expected

Three Upper Darby boys are hospitalized with serious injuries after they were hit by a car on their way home from school on Tuesday afternoon.
The driver is in custody, and police say charges were expected to be filed on Wednesday.
Upper Darby Police superintendent Michael Chitwood says the boys -- two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old -- were standing by the curb, waiting to cross at the intersection of Copely and Marshall Roads.
Chitwood says a 42-year-old woman at the wheel of a sedan struck the boys, kept going, and hit the rear of another car:
