Three people were stabbed and wounded in Northeast Washington Sunday morning, and at least two of the victims sustained serious injuries, police said.

The violent scene happened in the 1400 block of Holbrook Street Northeast around 11 a.m., and a witness said the suspect could have been on drugs at the time.
Police said three people were stabbed, and two of the victims sustained serious injuries. A 30-year-old female was stabbed in the chest and a 60-year-old woman was stabbed in the neck, police said. Both were transported by Medstar.
The third victim was taken to Howard Hospital, but no further details were immediately available.
