As a bill Philadelphia needs in order to avert drastic cuts and layoffs languishes at the state capitol, "doomsday" in the city now has a date: October 2nd.
KYW's Mike Dunn reports that mayor Michael Nutter says notices will go out this week about massive closures of city services to take effect early next month, since he still hasn't gotten the relief he needs from Harrisburg (related story).
