Americans nationwide are celebrating Labor Day on Monday. There were a number of events planned throughout the Delaware Valley, including one attended by vice president Joe Biden.
KYW's Mike DeNardo reports that Philadelphia's labor community celebrated solidarity on Monday morning with a rally and parade along Columbus Boulevard.
Thousands of workers in their union T-shirts marched up Columbus Boulevard. The parade followed a rally at the Sheet Metal Workers Hall, where Mayor Nutter received a less-than warm welcome.
