Cleopatra Exhibit World Premiere: Part I

The world premiere exhibition, Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt, has been launched at the Franklin Institute.
(nats sound) ....“I am Cleopatra, Queen, Daughter of Isis.”
And Cleopatra the seventh, Cleopatra Philopator, Father-Loving Goddess, Pharaoh, the last Ptolemaic ruler of Egypt. But just who was this incredible woman who came as close to anyone to toppling the great Roman Empire?
Cleopatra came to power at age 17 and reigned from 51 to 30 BCE. She spoke several languages, was said to be highly intelligent and beautiful, depending on who you ask. But Dr. David Silverman, Egyptian Section Curator in Charge at the Penn Museum and principal consulting curator with the Cleopatra exhibit, says what does it really matter?
