Bolt Bus will start service to New York City from 30th and Market Streets on April 10th, but spokesman Dustin Clark says you can go to boltbus.com and reserve your seat now:
"Basically, tickets start at one dollar plus a 50-cent book fee. Tickets range all the way up to market value. Market value in Philadelphia right now is right about $15."
Clark says every trip has a number of designated dollar seats that will remain available until booked.
Bolt Bus is a division of Greyhound, but independently operated.
UK-based megabus.com offers a similar service with similar come-on fares between Philly and the Big Apple. Its buses rev up on May 30th.
