Vanessa’s campaign is going wonderfully well. Vanessa and volunteers have been canvassing daily. The campaign’s had sound trucks running around the community and caravans have been going strong. As an extension of a wildly successful Friday Fish Fry, Vanessa has been inviting local leaders and committee people to break bread at her headquarters. Volunteers are coming to the campaign headquarters unsolicited.
I want you to be aware that the Democratic Executive Committee of Philadelphia has produced ballots for the 190th District on which voters are asked to write in Thomas W Blackwell for State Representative and no mention is made of the only official Democratic candidate, Vanessa Brown.

· Saturday 4/19 - Come see "The STUART SISTERS," a performance group from Philadelphia that will embark upon a theatrical journey of drama, dance, and song in a chronology of African American history and contributions to America. Performances at 12Noon and 4:00PM Greater Bibleway Church - 5186 Bibleway Street (near 52nd and Lancaster Avenue ). There will be a free will offering to benefit Vanessa Brown.

Meet Vanessa and supporters at the Girard Ave Bridge and make a human chain across the bridge that will link the West Philadelphia
North Philadelphia communities in the 190th district. This Sunday, April 20th action will symbolize the commitment of Vanessa and all of us to the whole 190th District.
