New Jersey Legislature Approves Medical Marijuana

Legislation allowing the use of medical marijuana in New Jersey was sent to the governor for his signature after passing both the state Assembly and Senate on Monday.
Governor Jon Corzine has already said he'll sign the legislation before he leaves office next week. That will make New Jersey the 14th state to legalize marijuana use for medicinal purposes.
State senator Nicholas Scutari, a sponsor of the bill, says New Jersey's version is much stricter than other such laws:
