Recently, the National Action Network has spearheaded an effort to address the standards that are currently in place in the media ,and entertainment business. The mission of this program is to eliminate the use of the " N " word the "B" word and the "H" word. These words are a blatant disrespect for women, particularly African American women. The Network wants to establish a single standard ,and model for all forms of media to adhere to, or face financial penalties and / or sanctions which could include boycotts of that specific business.

My Position on this is clear on this, I am a direct supporter of the National Action Network Initiative and its goal to make this happen, but lets boil this down, why not bring this to our homes and teach our children WHY we will not allow this language in our communities. Many Philadelphian's hear this disgusting language in the streets, the subways, and in our schools.
As adults it is our duty to confront this young ones in a respectful, yet firm way to instill the disciple that they need, it truley takes a village to raise the children.
Lets get with this progam, starting with your mouth at home.
