Last month's passage of the nearly $800-billion stimulus package is still trickling down to cities like Philadelphia. Local elected officials on Monday announced that some of the cash is coming this way for law enforcement.
Mayor Nutter and the region's congressional delegation (above) announced that $13½ million of stimulus money is earmarked for the Philadelphia Police Department.
