Look towards the water and you will see the Liberty Belle boat! Head in that direction.
Parking Information
There is available parking in three open fields (grass and gravel; one paved farther away) at the Waterfront Promenade. Although not a marked a marked "Parking Lot;" this is the area used for parking. There is a "grand stand" stage situated on the grass. The Liberty Belle is on the water, about 50 yards beyond the "grand stand" stage.
Directions from Philadelphia
- Take I-95 North (towards Trenton, NJ) to the Burlington Bristol Bridge/Bristol exit #41
- Make a right at the light onto Route 413 South follow signs to Burlington Bristol Bridge
- Once over the bridge, go through toll booth and stay to the left (take semi-circle that will put you onto West Broad Street)
- Take West Broad Street to the 3rd traffic light (High Street) and make a left
- Continue for two blocks to the waterfront/ river (Delaware River) and you will see the Liberty Belle.
- If you happen to be traveling from out of town several area hotels have also been outlined.

Philly Word Live!! JOINS MAC TO SPONSOR THE 2ND ANNUAL GLOBAL FUSION FESTIVAL THIS JULY
Showcasing Philadelphia ’s Diverse Talent
PHILADELPHIA…July 12, 2008…The Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress (MAC), a division of the Philadelphia Conventions & Visitors Bureau (PCVB), and Philly Word Live!! join to celebrate Philadelphia ’s multicultural talent through the 2nd Annual Global Fusion Festival, Saturday, July 19th from Noon to 8pm at Penn’s Landing Great Plaza . As part of PECO’s Multicultural Series, this FREE, one-day event will showcase a variety of local cultural entertainers, ethnic foods, crafts, give-aways and educational programs for participants of all ages.
This year’s festival will be hosted by 107.9 WRNB’s nationally syndicated host, Tom Joyner, of the Tom Joyner Morning Show. The Tom Joyner Morning Show is beamed into over 95 radio stations across the country each weekday, resulting in over 10 million listeners nationwide. Not only will Tom Joyner energize the event, but Global Fusion Festival headliners include Grammy-nominated, R&B heart-throbs Eric Benét and Carl Thomas plus, EPIC Records artist, R&B singer Noel Gourdin. In addition, Blackground Records R&B artist, Tank and Billboard Awards and Latin Grammy-nominated bachata singer, Andy Andy will perform.
Confirmed local cultural performers include: D3 Philadanco Dancers, Casa De Venezuela Musical Ensemble, the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble and Grupo Fuego who will be performing salsa dances and hosting a salsa contest.
Founder and Host of Philly Word Live!! states, “Because Hip-Hop is a global phenomenon it is the perect avenue for Philly Word Live!! to collaborate with the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress to further educate the public of the many cultural influences and expressions that exist today.”
Along with the stage entertainment, this year’s festival will feature “Make and Take” crafts by The Philadelphia Museum of Art and a Martial Arts demonstration. The Children's Pavilion, dedicated to the younger audience, will offer cultural enrichment and feature the Philadelphia ZOO on Wheels, face painting, and multicultural crafts for kids of all ages. Philadelphia International Records will spice up the festivities by hosting an interactive karaoke contest. The activities will continue with Line Dancing by Kenny J Productions, and an award presentation honoring El Sol’s 16 Crystal Award recipients. Curby Bucket will also be in attendance, promoting Philadelphia ’s recycling efforts.
