The death of a Philadelphia Fire Fighter who collapsed on the sidewalk shortly after returning home from a fire then passing away less then one month later has been ruled a "line of duty death."
On April 17th, Lieutenant Stephen Cospelich responded to a house fire in the 6300 block of Ogontz Avenue. Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers says it was a tough one:
"It was a rough, smoky basement job. They were in service for about an hour. He got home went to walk the dog and collapsed."
