Mayor Suspends Seven DHS Workers in Wake of Danieal Kelly Case
Philadelphia mayor Michael Nutter has suspended seven more workers in the city's embattled Department of Human Services. It's additional fallout from the apparent death by neglect of a 14-year-old girl in 2006. Two DHS workers -- Dana Poindexter and Laura Sommerer -- were charged last week in connection with Danieal Kelly's death. The seven additional DHS employees were named in the DA's report on the case but not charged.
