Building Literacy Using Poetry Means SpeaktoMe In Philly With Jamal Mack

SpeaktoMe, Inc, located at 1229 W. Erie Avenue, Suite 300, in Philadelphia, PA is a harvester or reaper of positive messages. SpeaktoMe speaks works of deep meaning, one whose vision of life is rosy. SpeaktoMe is a non-profit organization: Literacy and Poetic Systems Component that assist participants to understand the importance that one should not be easily distracted. SpeaktoMe, Inc. was brought to life by two young aspiring gentlemen, Shunard Brown, CEO and Co-Founder and Jamal Mack, CFO and Co-Founder who aspire to make a difference within the Philadelphia community.
Through sheer determination and hard work, SpeaktoMe gives revolutionary new artists a platform to showcase their talents in the form of spoken word and neosoul music. SpeaktoMe provides a creative, positive, and artistic outlet, with an enchanting live melodic funk for the mature adult looking to relax, relate, and release from the vicissitudes of everyday life responsibilities with the hottest Spoken Word and NeoSoul talent in the tri-state area. Mack and Brown have chosen the unique historical Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts, located at 736-38 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA as the venue to display this exciting genre. SpeaktoMe opens programming there on the 3rd Friday of every month.
One of SpeaktoMe, Inc.’s primary objectives is to raise money and develop community awareness for our Community Enchantment and Violence Reduction Program, which has been in operation over the past 3 years. SpeaktoMe, Inc.’s mission is to raise the awareness of both the parents and children by using music as a medium for communication and the development of communal camaraderie between parents, children, and the community. Jamal and partner provide musical and/or artistic opportunities for inner city youth, by providing access to free or reduced cost vocal instruction and other genres at The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts.
In order to facilitate the program, SpeaktoMe, Inc. also donates a percentage of its Friday night proceeds to the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts Education Department.
Without a doubt, this is the place to be the 3rd Friday of the month. The crowd is intimate, with ladies and gentlemen ranging in age from 21 to 45 years. You are encouraged to see what all the fuss is about. The only participation required is your presence. SpeaktoMe are so self sufficient that it also have sponsorship packages available for business entities and qualified individuals.
