Follow the Leader. That’s what I so often say. But, a lot of leaders are doing all the work. And then, the other leaders come alone and step in to take over. Most of the step and do nothing leaders always be about separation. They are behind your back disrupting everyone while speaking to you about stopping the senseless Philadelphia drug- related and gun-related murder. Well, Malik Aziz, and Antoinette Aziz, Ex Offenders Association of PA are starting a new websites that will truly help leadership combine.

One reason why the Aziz couple are launching the new website is that the time has come to “assist elected officials to clearly see what ‘stop the violence’ community organizations are working to reach Black American children,” says Malik. And Antoinette nods in agreement about this sick sadistic problem as Black and white kids in the struggle of gun-homicide are being incredibly exploited by real leaders. According to Malik, “real solutions means work so clear that everyone can look in with a smile.”

In order to prove or speak about work that is done that everyone will frown about when it comes too not adequately participating in the stop the violence movement, Malik Aziz likes to partnership with leadership. Other leadership having investigative skills and at the same time the “from the street life attitude,” as he calls it, that doesn’t have anything to loose but everything to gain in a spiritual way for community support is what it’s about. I, Van Stone, who just so happen to be a new friend of the Aziz family had the honor to work with Malik’s wife, by the way, a very approachable Antoinette Aziz indeed. I think that we reporters have explored partnership with Aziz to be sure that if and when exploiters of Black kids names comes up at the Aziz website it will be based on clear facts. For now, the us means groups for connecting the West Philly area and individual efforts for both gun-violence awareness AIDS awareness and ex offenders voting rights awareness. The website will very soon bring out the resurgence of the Masonic Lodge’s Islamic Safety Patrollers and Christian Watch Dogs of Ministry Public Safety. Warren Bloom, an advocate for AIDS education and Black American Spoken Word is just one example of fiery return to the needed “old school discipline” to support the Aziz website.

Malik Aziz spoke closely with the late Honorable Lucien A. Blackwell. A recipient of the Bureau of Community Corrections (Philadelphia) Volunteer of the Year for 2005, Malik started volunteering in 1999, helping to bring awareness to inmates about the concern of readiness for release during their incarceration completion and beyond. He has engaged in many programs and has been instrumental in helping with the increase of programs in state creation as well as in county facilities in Philadelphia.

Antoinette Jackson-Aziz has successfully graduated with honors from the Community College of Philadelphia, with dual degrees in Behavioral Health and Human Services and General Studies. Her Honors include Jane S. Abraham Scholarship of Excellence; National Deans List; American Collegiate Scholar; Student Ambassador. Antoinette has also received her B.A. in Human Services from Chestnut Hill College. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s program in Human Service Administration with an expected 2007-graduation date. If you feel the need to see a real life hero, the kind that gives back to the community, just take a bus ride on the route 52 in West Philly to get off at the Pine Street stop. Peek inside the school there or just take a seat in the Park. It’s your choice. You will find 5 days a week, at least 3 to 5 hours a day, children laughing, learning and behaving hot. Behaving hot, is another way that it’s explained to kids that they are behaving respectfully, and true to themselves that they are gonna avoid trouble regardless of where they live in a world that’s not all good. Through the vision and the talent of Music Coordinator, Mr. Abraham "I.B." El, our children learn to craft their ideas and hopes for peace in our streets into very rhythmic and motivating Hip-Hop songs.

Abraham, a caregiver at the Children’s Services, Inc., Conflict Resolution Process After School, Sankofa Summer Camp, and Positive Youth Development Program, has saved many young lives from despair using his very tall stature, cool hairstyle, and trained voice command as tools of the hero trade. Weekly "I.B." El ensures that before the end of each day our children are encouraged to express themselves in a very positive manner, knowing that their songs can be that "Ray of Hope" that will help change our community for the better. Abraham believes in a program system that prepares our children for very inspirational and motivational performances. Not only can you find El promoting free concerts starring young children at the Samuel B. Huey Elementary School, 52nd and Pine Street on Sunday, June 24th, 2007 a Special Performance Showcase for Peace at the Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street, West Philadelphia, University City District will take place from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Why the shows free for all ages?

Well, let's just get to know Abraham, aka "the I.B." a bit. Abraham was born in Augusta, Ga. February 26 1980 and raised in the roughest parts of Philadelphia. As apart of a large musical family, Abe, as he is also called, A.k.a. I.B. found his love for Hip-Hop at the early age of six years old. Abraham realized that Hip Hop could be an effective tool for learning when he taught a fourth grade child their ABC, s through Hip Hop while volunteering as a teacher assistant. Abraham has attended college and is currently working on his degree in social work. Abraham started and funded "Thurobred Kids" an organization that provides positive alternative activities for West Philadelphia youth. He is proud of his first CD, "Operation Freedom" on Akhenation records. While remaining highly spirited and dedicated to the youth Abraham El dreams of one day opening a super recreation center in Philly and other cities. The "Thurobred Kids" have performed for other elementary schools, senior centers, community festivals, summer camps, special needs centers and parents and children who really need to hear the stop the violence, and go snitching message of Peace. "Bro. I.B. Hip Hop All Stars" are prepared to bring that positive message to anyone who is ready to listen. Speaking of listening: kids listening to Long? What?

Ronnie Long that is. Take that same route 52 bus the other direction, get off the Parkside Avenue stop. One of Philly’s most powerful comedians when Philadelphia Comedy was still in its infancy during the hot that helped kids to the right thing was Mr. Ronny Long. Long has used comedy to help parents find a smooth way to promote anti-violence. He uses jokes explaining that people who makes threats or engage in violent acts will be removed pretty much to jail.

Ronnie says, "A LONG STORY is Ronnie's one-man comedy show and CD taping." There is free admission at the Cornucopia, 4942 Parkside Avenue, and it was a free show this past Saturday, June 16. Ronnie Long will use some of his comedyset community support to educate and inspire kids to believe in themselves and set goals early. He donates his time at Camp VPAL, 52nd and Pine St. Huey Elementary and the Malcolm X Park. Both Long and Abraham El, are kicking off peace for kids.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Bill Cosby called on parents and community elders to communicate with their children to help stop a wave of violence that has plagued the city for more than a year. Cosby spoke Monday to a crowd of several hundred people after joining an anti-violence group on an hour-long march through West Philadelphia. "You’ve got to teach your children how to think," he said. "You watch one blow the other one’s head off and how can you feel good about yourself?"

The event was the fourth of seven anti-violence appearances that Cosby, a Philadelphia native, has pledged to take part in with Men United for a Better Philadelphia, which organized the march.

Philadelphia’s homicide rate of more than a murder a day in 2007 is ahead of last year’s pace, when the homicide count of more than 400 was the highest in nine years.

During the march, the comedian waved to neighbors and spontaneously climbed front porches to shake hands -- breaking out of a crowd that grew to hundreds.

Democratic mayoral candidate Michael Nutter also walked. He tried to appeal directly to young people, who are involved in the bulk of the city’s violent crimes.

"Stop carrying these guns," Nutter said. "Pick up a book."

Men United’s co-chair Malik Aziz, a victim and perpetrator of gun violence before he joined the group, said his organization hoped to bring together current and former gang leaders to broker a cease-fire.

Many citizens of this country only have bits and pieces of the history of the African American Muslim. What we do have has been obtained from various groups or individuals, who have left us with unanswered questions and no where to search for answers.

Now we can get these answers and much more. At the beckoning of Imam W. Deem Mohammed, a group of in-house scholars, researchers and writers, known as the Islamic History Project Group, chronicled this history, in an attempt to set the record straight and dismiss many of the misconceptions that are still prevalent among the general populace.

So treat yourself. Free yourself. Read this book.

Each and every one of us has an inherent thirst for knowledge. We as a people have a particular thirst for knowledge of self. Imam W. Deen Mohammed’s call for Muslim African American Community members to produce well crafted books on subjects such as the community’s history and Islamic studies and The Islamic History Project Group’s response to that call is a blessing to us all.

Myrikal began her career as a rapper at age 10 with a program called R.A.R.E. She has performed numerous places with them. But Myrikal’s career took off to a solo artist. She writes her own lyrics. She won 2^nd place in the singer/song writer competition, and 1^st place in the creative runway competition. Halloween, not spelled holloween, is the evening of October 31, the eve of All Saints’ Day, celebrated by dressing up in costumes and –playing pranks. This is from the phrase All hallows Even "All Saints’ Eve. Well, since I was a kid no one ever explained it to me that way. I did know that hallow is to make holy or sacred. The question now is, do you or I know anyone who was buried in hallowed ground?

As of late, the gun homicides and all, many a love one is buried or are about to be buried in what is considered made holy ground. Family and friends of Vincent Woodson are attempting to use Halloween night as a positive anniversary. Remember the sudden death of Woodson. Who better than to take the lead in this but Woodson’s own mother, Fay Dawson? Fay Is the Founder of the Woodson Foundation. And Fay is holding a Vigil, her first in the West Philly area across the state of PA, on the very evening of this coming Tuesday, Oct. 31, ’06. In Philly, where most of the gun violence homicides are young Black American males, too one of them was Fay Dawson’s son, Vincent Michael Woodson. Fay’s son was shot and killed, in the 300 block of East Price Street. "Vincent was not involved in a melee that happened during the early morning hours of January 9, 2005 when a group of men came to a party and started a fight," says Fay. Woodson was only 23 years old.

He was the dad of two children. The alleged perpetrator was caught and is currently being tried. But as for Fay, this year the longing to see many kids survive the street culture has been her passion and care. Woodson’s care is so deep within that she wants to do her best not to have a child taken away on a fun night like Halloween, if she can have any say about it. And have her say, she will. If any adventure out to meet Woodson they will get to know more about what proactive duty she has been involved with to affect illegal gun activity. For quite awhile, Woodson has worked devoutly with the grievance and loss management group Mothers United Through Tragedy (MUTT). That work has paid off. Becoming stronger, Fay will lead the way to direct praying for the city’s fight to stop the violence and all the families touched by violence. On a evening to reflect about what has become sacred to all lovers of positive energy, hanging out with Fay just might be like being touched by an angel.

"When we gathered for Vincent’s funeral; we said that love is stronger than death," she said. Fay has created her forum to stretch her work as essential services for families and the community. Woodson encourages kids at After-school programs and voluntarily participates within the Phila. School District ‘s kids safety in action. The Woodson Foundation’s Community Prayer citywide Vigil is an outdoor event scheduled for Tuesday, Oct., 31, 2006, 5:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. at 4304 Lancaster Ave. It will also be open mic for speakers. In just a little while longer, Philadelphia residents will get a chance to meet its city’s newest Heroes. The Town Watch Rangers. Unlike regular citywide town watch or those other guys that risk their own personal safety to promote public safety, the Guardian Angels, the men and women Rangers are coming to town to work for gun control with a vengeance. And it’s personal. The Town Watch Ranger, a Volunteer Patrol Service, formally of the 52nd Street community Town Watch, will provide public safety, street cleaning and safer schools. Services include connecting Street Arteries and any of the neighboring blocks and businesses that carry residents from the parks through the city.

In other words, just like when the criminals clearly avoids trouble where ever they see, the Cops rolling down the block, the Firefighter racing to stop destructive fires or the Park Ranger protecting national tourism spots, that same no good crook that ‘s willing and able to shoot up the city in broad daylight, not giving a hoot if kids are out, is about to move on quickly when ever and where ever they come face to face with a Town Watch Ranger. Many of the new Ranger’s are men and women that have dealt with some kind of sudden loss due to wrong doing by happy go lucky attitude folks that only seem to understand Stop the violence when faced against another that’s willing to get it stopped by any means necessary. Through the work of the Town Watch Ranger they enable our children to lead healthier and more independent lives, teach parents to manage their children’s issues with success and confidence, and provide our citizens with opportunities that will help them to grow, develop and become value added contributors to the success of a changed Philadelphia. But they are not just about serving the 52nd Street area of West Philadelphia. They are encouraging any neighborhood leadership to communicate with them often. Today, because of history secular courts have set themselves up to be basically defenseless against organized religion and organized police no matter what they call themselves. Certain leaders of the church and police departments are aware that even the Supreme Court has no power to review church decisions to sell pamphlets or police decisions to confiscated sell guns. Observing the situation, this is why victims in the 1800's attempted to stop criminals from making the law into their own. Both civilian town watch and law enforcement partnered together to stop and frisk the criminals from abusing other’s rights.

Yes, white or Black, some even fought with their lives, if they had to, against the corrupt governmental authorities and won. This was the case during John Brown’s and Frederick Douglas time. Today in West Philadelphia area the 52nd Street Town Watch and local Police Clergy are helping the neighborhood to revise an advanced patrolling unit. This time it will be an actual department called the Town Watch Ranger. Just as the Park Ranger patrols the parks and help local police to fight crime the Town Watch Ranger will patrol both the parks and streets to reduce gun-violence and drugs. In the past, Brown, a white man, with fewer than fifty men, attacked the U.S. arsenal in Harpers Ferry launching an attack on Virginia slave-holders. Gun-violence then meant slavery. Brown and Douglas invented a sort of Stop and Frisk then that helped slow down crime. What about today?

Recently, many are concerned about Stop and Frisk. People who feel they don’t trust or understand Stop and Frisk are encouraged to work with local town watch and police. Mr. Raymond Ward has reorganized town watch that has a well experienced police radio patrol to help fight crime and see to it that Stop and Frisk is a success. Mr. Ward has long established one of the most sound town watch services in the West Philly neighborhoods. Ward, now in his seventies, developed bike, foot and radio town watch along 52nd street that was so authorized that shootings and muggings and nuisances were a minimum.

Mr. Ward reminds me of men like Douglas and Brown who worked together against mean spirited judges and police that stood by and did nothing to assist the Black or white victims of crime. Good unity is Power.

Today the moral urgency to assist our neighbors is great. Upper Darby, Delaware County is just 5 minute drive away from Mr. Ward's 52nd Street neighborhood. Mr. Ward promises that the Town Watch Ranger is needed to assure the West Philly community that no Philadelphia police will sell guns to gun shops as the Upper Darby Police have done. The Town Watch Ranger is a group diversified amongst Americans that are Indian, Black and White. Mr. Ward wants to support Stop and Frisk if it can allow Philadelphia to confront police department heads that have confiscated guns and then sold them to gun shops. Should Cops that resell illegal guns should be handcuffed and then thrown into prison? The new Town Watch Ranger can replace the shortage of police in any town or city when cops go bad. We welcome any patrol that will stay alert.

The Philadelphia Police Clergy is expanding value safety services and accommodations for poverty reduction for Philadelphia in a secure and safe environment. Last week Rev. Dr. Clarence Hester, Philadelphia Police Clergy, East Division has led these services as a result of social practices and positive human interaction with honor. Harrisburg, PA -- A Harrisburg man, known for his work with children in both the performing arts and mental health areas, has thrown his hat into the race for Harrisburg City Council as an Independent. He joins two incumbents, Susan Brown-Wilson and Gloria Martin-Roberts, as the only true "Independent" candidate vying for one of 3 seats up for grabs in November. Brad Koplinski, a relatively unknown candidate who many believe to be bought and paid for by so-called "Mayor for Life", Steven Reed will also be on the General Election ballot in November. Koplinski garnered a 3rd place win in the hotly contested May 15th Primary.

Kelly D. Summerford was born in Harrisburg and grew up on Reily Street, then moved to Holly Street, and presently lives on Market Street. He said today he will run an energetic campaign for one of the vacancies on City Council, advocating “neighborhoods that are safe from violence, crime, soul-stealing drugs and neglected properties.” In his announcement Summerford said he believes Harrisburg City leaders should embrace integrity and accountability and they should be responsive to the voices of all the people who live in Harrisburg.

Summerford said, by its nature, his campaign is a grass-roots effort to restore the vitality of the past. He pledged that voters who now feel disenfranchised will be listened to, and they will shape his run for the Council Seat he is determined to win.

Summerford is the Administrative Assistant with the PA Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Training and Technical Assistance Institute, serving as the Institute’s liaison to the Department of Psychology at Penn State University.

Summerford is a graduate of Harrisburg High School and earned a Certificate in Arts Management at the University of Massachusetts. He worked 12 years as a computer programmer and handled the per capita dues for the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO. He also worked as a consultant to the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. He has worked as an actor, choreographer and director, appearing in several feature films and television shows. Locally, he is known as a consultant for many Harrisburg arts projects.

Summerford is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Company, Pride of the Neighborhood Academy and Pen Owl Productions, among others. He is also a member of the Harrisburg Kiwanis Club.

Poor folks often become angry about what resources their community does not have especially when they find that their neighbors who live in nearby communities do have those resources. They speak more aggressively when professional criminal elements plan to eliminate the poor. According to their complete understanding, Jesus said, “there will always be the poor.” In the city of Philadelphia if we do not endorse someone now, as Mayor of Philadelphia 2007, the criminals will soon rid Philadelphia of the poor. The next Mayor of Philadelphia must be for change to help us do our job that is save the poor.

"Us" referred to in the above paragraph is none other than the Philadelphia Police Clergy, Law Enforcement member body independent of inside city government politics. On average mayoral candidates during the primary election seek out the Philadelphia Police Clergy body for endorsement. In past elections the Police Clergy have decided not to endorse any candidate based on their view that all candidates appear to have their common interest about what Jesus has said about making sure that the poor would not come to extinction by the hands of evil doers. However, in 2007, considering the crime and violence death toll of innocent victims and babies that are mainly poor Philadelphians, the Philadelphia Police Clergy body feels compelled to congratulate former City Councilman, Michael Nutter, Democratic primary winner for Mayor of Philadelphia. As a collective, there are 400 Philadelphia Police Clergy that citywide proactively risk responding to the needs of the poor as local police sidekicks to help reduce crime and violence in the neighborhoods, schools, homes and economic environments. Responding to intentional attacks against the poor and very low-income folks is the duty of the Police Clergy Minister whether he/she is Christian, Islamic or Jewish.

The Police Clergy Liaison, Rev Maurice Hughes appreciates Mr.Nutter having history of promoting reading and education found in newspapers that are published by African-American ownership. Mr. Nutter supports strongly these community newspapers that are tools to poor neighbors receiving education about not only public safety but self-help preparation to make attempts to attend Philadelphia Community College or Berean Institute, Business and Technology Training Center (BBTTC) which is also considered a community college of Philadelphia. What kid would not want to work in his/her own community at the neighborhood newspaper?

Clearly the Philadelphia Police Clergy hope is that Michael Nutter is the next Mayor of Philadelphia. Nutter wants Stop, Question, and Frisk for Philadelphia so that every child who has the opportunity to go to school with his or her parents to be well prepared to succeed at any level. Additionally, I too believe that Stop, Question, and Frisk is the strong solution to returning safe Philly so that all folks can participate in tourism citywide. Children will find strong support to accomplish completely the same hard work habits as a successful African-American Leader like Mr.Nutter as soon as the police feel that their hands are untied when it comes to fighting crime in Philly. Frisking has little to do with asking just anyone and everyone, “What's that bulging there? I do believe that I see the pants bulged with guns.” Frisking or Dialing 911 will go a long way to helping prevent innocent kids from getting shot.

As a longtime Philadelphia Community Activist and Poverty Reduction Politician, I see the return of Warren F. Bloom, (“Bloom in the Spring”), Independent Candidate for City Commissioner as an Invitation to a community activist partnership to make it happen and not some sort of wanna be. A marriage takes two to join up to save the children; a partnership takes a whole village to save the children. Independent Community activist leader Bloom understands what can happen to any village that is on the brink of being overcome by poverty. At least 2 of the youngest youth advocates, Christopher Owens, Director of Programs and Charles Overton, Director of Basketball are in a good position to deal with what is happening with poverty issues and kids in Philadelphia today.

Surprisingly with the Bloom in the Spring Invitation partnership the entire Philadelphia Democratic Party, Republican Party, Green Party is now in a position to stand back and see how Bloom in the Spring’s partnership can be used to save the children of Philly one village at a time. I must admit that Bloom in the Spring will be a stronger impact because he not only will help to reduce poverty he will help to reduce bias in Philly too. But regardless of the support made amongst the democrats, republicans, the third party, if the political leaders are not approachable or available where ever and whenever parents and children dealing with poverty try to be heard the poverty emergency in Philadelphia will continue to get far worse before it gets any better. That’s why, Owens and Overton are pushing them, specializing in mentoring, to be newly proactive men to aid youth with academic difficulty and everyday life struggles. One of the most difficult concepts to get across to the public is the devastating effect of vertebral subluxation (bone out of place in your spine). Chiropractors could show you all kinds of diseases and say vertebral subluxation causes those diseases. But that would not be quite honest. That would be like saying that being a couch potato and not exercising regularly causes heart disease. It is undoubtedly a factor but there are other factors also. No one can possibly say what is the major factor of cause. In addition to that, chiropractors do not want to focus on a negative like disease. Chiropractors would rather be proactive, to talk about getting adjusted regularly to maintain your health and reach your full potential in every area of life. But unfortunately some of us are only motivated by fear, the fear of being sick or dying from some horrible disease. So for that person lets take a minute to talk about how bad this called a vertebral subluxation really is.

When there is a subluxation in your spine, your digestive system will not work at its full potential. Your body cannot produce the exact quantity and quality of chemicals necessary to digest the food that you eat. The food will not be absorbed into your body as it should because the cells involved in absorption are not working as they should because the food is not being broken down properly. Those organs, tissues and cells involved with changing absorbed foods into flesh and blood will not work properly without a good nerve supply. When there is a subluxation in your spine, your immune system is not working, as it should. The organs and cells involved in keeping you resistant to viruses and bacteria are working at less than their potential. When you are subluxated you cannot think as well, your coordination is lessened, energy levels are decreased. A vertebral subluxation literally affects every part of your body because every part of your body in one way or another is dependent upon a properly functioning nerve system. An improperly functioning nerve system can lead to unexpected disability/death.

A vertebral subluxation affects the entire body. In this day and age when there are so many stresses upon the body, chemical, physical, and mental we cannot afford to have an improperly functioning nerve system. We cannot be sure about the quality of the water that we drink or the air that we breathe. We cannot know for sure that our body is getting all the nutrients that we need from our food sources. We cannot help being exposed to microorganisms, many of that are more powerful than ever because of their ability to adapt to attempts to destroy them with drugs. We can do nothing about he genetic weaknesses we inherited from our parents. But by keeping our nerve system free of vertebral subluxation, we can be sure that any potential that we have will be expressed as well as possible. With so many chemicals, toxins and poisons in our food, air, water, not to mention those we purposely put in our bodies because we “enjoy them” we must keep our elimination system working as close to perfect as possible. Subluxation is not good.

The bowels, the kidneys, and other organs of elimination cannot work properly with interference in the nerve system. Hopefully by now you realize how devastating vertebral subluxation is. It may not be the most dramatic negative effect on the body. Surely, getting hit by a truck is worse. But there is probably no other single entity that can have such widespread negative effects on your body. Keep it free of subluxations by seeing your chiropractor regularly. Stone says those effects from the 2003 spiritually and mentally departure from the JW’s helped him create a written dialogue that is really about exposing domination of another’s mind and ministry reform. Many find it hard to accept that ministers are focusing on the justice and fairness that families need more than ever today. The book reminds all in the ministry that taking away from the congregation members in order to help themselves is an operation that will create individuals ready to speak up and shame a religion’s leaders self serving practice.

As a pastor, Minister Stone, says that he and other pastors are working using the book to help newly formed ministries, be they Islamic, Christian, or Jewish among many, that praise in the state of PA. In spite of the recent rash of negative behavior ministers of all faiths, Stone believes that knowledge in the community is growing at a very fast rate. Warren Bloom, Democrat in court; Tracey Lofton, Dir. of Youth Lawyer Program;Tracey "Downing" Lofton will examine court decisions in political court and family court to provide free support to defendants that may be victims of court abuse helping citizens to understand getting courts laws enforced is in their reach in the state of PA.

In an attempt to get amazing legal counsel or grace for a political or family matter, finding a lawyer that will explain the due process of Judge and citizen engagement in court is very hard. In fact hiring a licensed attorney in Philadelphia County, Chester County, and Media Delaware County that will school you and help you at the same time is basically impossible. One reason for this amazing grace difficulty is that very few citizens understand just whom that person is that has the responsibility to enforce the law at court. This is where Tracey Lofton, Director of a Youth Lawyer Program, and folks like her, comes in to play. “Judges make decisions. Judges do not enforce the law,” Lofton says.

“I was told that when Political Petitions Challenges Decisions are made, Protection From Abuse Orders are made, Child Custody Orders are made, or any orders made by a Judge go into effect as Final Orders on the Municipal level, they, in fact, are not Final Orders,” says Lofton. Tracey has begun examining getting involved in 2 most recent popular court cases dealing with court defendant, Warren Bloom, in Philadelphia County and court plaintiff, Marcia Brown, in Media Delaware County. Lofton explains that “all Municipal Court, Court of Common Pleas, and Family Court level orders can be appealed as high to the Supreme Court. Any defendant must be served properly to appear in court and has the right to counsel especially when the plaintiff has appeared himself/herself-having counsel to speak against the defendant for them. Although a Judge may make a decision the empowerment of enforcing the law of the court is in the hand of the citizen.

PFA's that are obtained without the law being enforced (claimants are granted PFA's in Delaware County Courts without any report or incident of a why the plaintiff has not served the defendant and the plaintiff has not appeared himself/herself) is court abuse.

Case in point: Warren Bloom Candidate for City Commissioner for the May 15th Spring Primary got one day notice given and a No Continuance factor to appear in court by the City Commissioners office and the Court of Common Pleas. Nor did Bloom have counsel. Samuel C. Stretton, counsel for Philadelphia City Commissioner Edgar Howard challenged 960 signatures, leaving Bloom just 40 shy out of the one thousand needed to get on the ballot. Judge Lillian Ransom made the decision to remove Bloom from going any further ending his '07 political candidacy now. Lofton is looking at Bloom not having any counsel or denied the opportunity to fight the case using counsel support.

“Here is a good example where the citizen doesn't view this situation as personal or filing a complaint against a Judge accusing the fair justice of bias,” says Lofton. “Judges are often put in position to make decisions where guidelines are not set in place for them to be more supportive of those who are ordered to court without representation.

"But in the Marcia Brown case and Media Delaware County Justice Maureen Fitzpatrick, alarming it can be,” Lofton said. Marcia Brown, plaintiff, a resident of Delaware County, gave no notice, provided no proof of incident and worried not about a No Continuance factor to have the defendant appear in court by the Media Delaware County Courthouse. Nor did the defendant have counsel. Brown asked for a Protection From Abuse order preventing a defendant from coming near children or property the defendant and Brown share together although Brown nor the children has had any contact with the defendant for as long as 5 years. "This leaves the children and defendant completely separated from normal family activity. Judge Fitzpatrick made the decision to remove the defendant from participation with the children ending the children's freedom to have both parents now."

Lofton is looking at the shocking revelation that several Media Delaware County Judges, Fitzpatrick and Barry C. Dozor, are leaving citizens to believe that these judges can never be wrong and that their decisions made are final. “ There could be thousands of personal stories here when people are ready to tell about false decisions made by Media justices. Appeals can be made to higher courts to remove the matter from biased judges. To my knowledge no one should have a decision made against them when they are not present,” Lofton says. Lofton, a mother of seven -is committed to the people in this City of Media, Chester and Philadelphia by providing services such as housing, counseling, mentoring, training, job placement, etc. for over twenty years.
