LAUREL, Md. -
Anne Arundel County police are charging the wife of a U.S. Army service member with killing her husband at their home in Laurel.
Police
were called to the home Friday morning to check on the occupants.
That's where they found a man's body with signs of trauma. Police have
identified the victim as 38-year-old Johnnie Sutton III. Investigators
say he died from multiple stab wounds.
On Saturday, police
charged 30-year-old Marquita Berry-Sutton in the killing. She turned
herself in on Saturday. She is charged with second-degree murder.
Police say the couple has a 21-month-old child who was home at the time of the killing, but the child was not harmed.
