Tragedy and Hope

PHILADELPHIA - All Americans can remember the tragic day of 9/11, when this Country faced a diabolical attack that destroyed the lives of families in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington D,C.
As these atrocities unfolded before our eyes ,all Americans were in shock at the realization, that our national security had been breached. Americans from all across the country, mobilized as one for a moment, and they put away their petty differences came together in brotherly love, to rebuild this nation.
After that terrible disaster of 9/11 we face another attack. The consequences may be more devastating to Americans for years to come. The United States banking system, Wall Street, and Mortgage lenders have squandered the retirement savings of millions of citizens of this land. How do WE, the American Tax payers respond to THIS attack? Should we respond as our Government has, by bailing out these irresponsible bankers with our tax dollars?
Who is responsible for this? I believe the blame can be placed on the shoulders of many politicians, but particularly I blame the President. When we elect a President, He must protect this Country from attacks both foreign and domestic. Therefore, if our government was willing to punish those who sought to destroy us THEN, why reward those greedy bankers who destroyed our economy NOW!
The results of this economic attack are just as deadly. Many men and women who have worked all there lives, to be able to retire with dignity are faced with the reality that their savings are gone, and they must continue to work. It has been said, and its is a true statement: “People should not be afraid of government, the government should be afraid of the people.”
On November 4th make a bold statement to Republican Party, time is up!
