Good weather and the scenic Kelly and King Drives provided the back-drop for a successful AIDS walk on Sunday.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter welcomed a crowd estimated of nearly 15,000 as he helped start the 22nd annual AID walk:
“What is really important is that the money that’s raised here stays here. This event helps provide the focus and raise dollars for education, awareness, and information for people with AIDS.”
