A 13-year-old boy is hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a car in Lower Merion on Wednesday afternoon. Police say the driver of the car fled the scene.
Authorities say it happened around noon on New Gulph Road near Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr. They say the car hit the teenager who was riding his bike. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered injuries to his head and lower body. Lower Merion police superintendent Michael McGrath says they’ve spoken to witnesses who saw the crash:
