A “catchy” way to prevent drivers from rolling through stop signs is catching on in some towns in the Philadelphia area.
The Haverford Township police department was the first in the region to give drivers a visual reminder that failing to make a complete stop at a stop sign will cost you a nice piece of your pay check.
The department has about three dozen signs that it attachs to the stop signs that read “Complete Stop Free, Rolling Stops $109.50, Your Choice.”
